Raymond A. Langdeau Langdeau 3/9/2026 We are saddened to say, Raymond A. Langdeau, known to all for his kindness and easygoing nature, passed away at the age of 78 on Monday, March 9, at St. Mary's Hospital. Ray was the loving husband of Debra (Tozzi) Langdeau. Born in Waterbury on January 8, 1948, he was the son of the late Romeo and Dorothy (Albert) Langdeau. He graduated from Wolcott High School and proudly served in the United States Navy. Ray was a very well-known, dedicated family man known for his sense of humor, while remaining unjudged for how long his stories took to tell. Ray partnered to open Chasse's Autobody in Wolcott, a business proudly operated for nearly a half century. His creative ability to turn a set of wheels and some metal into a rolling museum quality masterpiece was unmatched. He will be genuinely missed by all. In addition to his beloved wife Debra, Ray is survived by his sons, Jeff (Kari) Langdeau and Bryan (Samantha) Langdeau, and his three grandchildren, Emma, Ryder, and Mason Langdeau. He also leaves his brothers, Tom (Joan) Langdeau and Bill (Michelle) Langdeau, and his sister, Jeannine (Jim) Cullen along with many nieces, nephews, and longtime friends who will miss him dearly. Taking his seat at the table aside his parents, Ray joins his brothers Bob, Jimmy, Johnny, Steve, Dave, and Rich Langdeau at their eternal family gathering. Calling hours will be on Friday, March 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road in Wolcott with a Funeral Service beginning at 12 p.m. Burial with military honors will follow at Edgewood Cemetery. Please visit www.woodtickmemorial.com for online tributes and additional information. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Homes for the Brave, https://homesforthebrave.org/, an organization supporting veterans in Connecticut.
