Ray Roman Tovar, 52, a lifelong resident of Harlingen, Texas, passed away on March 8, 2026. Born on February 12, 1974, to Isabel Fernandez and Roman M. Torres, he carried a generous spirit throughout his life and chose to become an organ donor.
He is survived by his mother, Isabel Fernandez; his four children, Roman Torres, Desiree Torres, Haley Torres, and Rayden Torres; and his four sisters, Yvette (Christopher) Cruz, Brandy Fernandez, Lori Fernandez, and Misty B. Fernandez. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Ray will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the quiet strength he showed those closest to him. His presence remains deeply cherished by all who knew him.
