Raul Huerta

Raul Huerta, 63, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on March 11, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer and related complications.

Born in Guerrero, Mexico, in 1962, Raul emigrated to Long Beach, California, in 1995. In 1998, he settled in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he built his second family with his wife, Dora Moran, and their daughter, Guadalupe Rosa. They remained by his side, caring for him and loving him until his final day.

Raul was a man of strength, resilience, and quiet determination. A true warrior in every sense, he faced life’s hardships with the same fortitude that defined his home state of Guerrero. He was a hard worker who loved Mexican music and took great pleasure in traditional dishes such as birria, menudo, and pupusas. Above all, he cherished the moments spent with his family, leaving behind a legacy of perseverance and heartfelt lessons that will remain in their hearts forever.
