He was predeceased by: his father Walter Lafever (Myrlene McDougal Lafever). He is survived by: his daughter Blair Lafever; his mother Myrlene Lafever; and his sister Mary Watson (Lenny). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fergason Cemetery (3439 Co Rd 45, Town Creek, AL 35672). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
