Westfield, ME
Randy L. Stickney, 75, of Westfield, passed away on March 11, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones at The Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle after a long illness. Born on January 1, 1951, in Mars Hill, he was the son of Randolph and Shirley (DeMerchant) Stickney. He graduated from Central Aroostook High School with the class of 1969.
Randy married the love of his life, Bonnie Codrey, on July 29, 1972, after meeting in 1969. Together they shared 53 years of marriage. He worked as a roofer for Bangor Roofing Co. and International Paper, and as a farm laborer on several area farms, including Ketchum Tree Farms, Pryor Farms, County Super Spuds, and most recently drove truck for BD Grass and Sons. Known for his skill at horseshoes, he won many tournaments. He also had a lifelong talent for working on vehicles and took great pleasure in the many cars and pickups he owned over the years. Randy loved playing his daily Pick 3 and Pick 4 numbers, cribbage, gardening, hunting, fishing the brook, and photographing wildlife and the beauty of Aroostook County. He especially cherished riding to the top of Mars Hill Mountain.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Stickney of Westfield; his children, Jayson Stickney of Westfield and Jennifer McKeen of Mars Hill; his brother, Gary Stickney of Presque Isle; and his beloved grandchildren, Delaney McKeen, Dylan McKeen, Kyryn Stickney, and Jorie Stickney. Randy was predeceased by his parents and his siblings, Phillip, Larry, Ronald, and Leslie Stickney, and Judy.
