Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Previous services have been postponed due to family health reasons.Randy was born August 16, 1953, in Flint, Michigan to the late Kenneth and Leona (Kaiser) Rodgers. A graduate of Grand Blanc High School, Randy furthered his education at Michigan Technological University, where he not only honed his skills but also made lasting memories playing hockey. On August 18, 1990, he married the love of his life, Arlene Jackson, and for 35 years, they shared memories, love and laughter. Randy dedicated over 30 years of his life to General Motors as a Millwright, proudly representing his craft within the Union since 1990. Outside of work, Randy was a true outdoorsman at heart. He cherished hunting and fishing trips, relished playing poker with friends, and entertained all with his harmonica skills. He found joy in bird watching and was a devoted fan of sports, particularly the Red Wings. Above all, Randy adored spending time with his family, his grandchildren brought boundless joy to his life. He had an undeniable love for his dogs, who were as much a part of his family. A loving husband, a devoted father, and an extraordinary friend, will always be remembered for his zest for life and his love for those around him. May his spirit continue to inspire us, and may we honor him in all the moments we share.Surviving are: Wife, Arlene Rodgers; Children: Jenna Rodgers (Andrew), Travis Rodgers (Gracie) and Trevor Rodgers; Grandchildren: Hunter Rodgers, Lorelei Bailey, Lynnlee Bailey and Vincent Rodgers: Brothers: Michael Rodgers and Mark Rodgers; Sister-In-Law, Lorrie Rodgers; Nephew, Tony Rodgers.
