Randy Ervin, a lifelong resident of Hardeman County, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, in his hometown of Bolivar. Born on July 14, 1955, Randy dedicated much of his life to the art and craft of hair design, working at R.E. Hair Design until becoming disabled. His commitment to his profession reflected both his skill and his genuine passion.
Born and raised in Bolivar, Randy maintained a deep connection to his community. He found great joy in traveling and in the simple pleasure of fixing hair, especially the cherished moments spent styling his mother Genail Ervin’s hair. A familiar and faithful presence at Parran’s Chapel Baptist Church, he regularly attended services and Sunday school. He also enjoyed his time working at the Peabody and embraced every opportunity to connect with those around him.
Randy is survived by his loving mother, Genail Ervin. He will be fondly remembered by several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Freddy Eugene Ervin.
Randy’s life was marked by sincere dedication to his craft, his faith, and his love for family and community. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and craftsmanship treasured by all who knew him.
