Randell Gene Goff
November 1, 1954— March 4, 2026
Butler, AL
Randell Gene Goff, known affectionately as Gene, passed away on March 4, 2026, with his loving wife by his side. He was 71. Born on November 1, 1954, in Lucedale, Mississippi, to James Curtis Goff and Betty Havard Goff, Gene lived a life rooted in the outdoors and the simple pleasures of nature.
Gene cherished riding the back roads in his four-wheel drive, delighting in the scenery and the spray of mud from his tires. He found great joy in hunting, taking his boat out on the river to fish or simply enjoy time on the water, and sharing these pursuits with a close circle of friends.
He worked as a pipe fitter in construction until his retirement. Gene is survived by his wife, Christina Jenkins of Butler, Alabama; his son, Randell Gene Goff, Jr. and wife Lauren of Spanish Fort, Alabama; his daughter, Devin Rene Spearman and husband Sid of Hillsboro, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Easton Goff, Gracie Spearman, Taylor Spearman, Briar Spearman, and Emma Spearman. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael Goff.
