Randall Jay Manchester

Randall Jay Manchester, known to many as Randy, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona, at the age of 67. Born on October 13, 1958, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to Joyce Bernice Rainwater and Billy Manchester, he was preceded in death by both parents and his brother, Greg Manchester.

Randy graduated from Morehead State University in 1976. He built a long and steady career in logistics, working for companies such as Yellow Freight Trucking and Brink’s Security before retiring. A man of strong, independent spirit, he had a lifelong love of travel and exploration. He lived and journeyed through Arizona, Colorado, California, and Ohio, and later found a special place in his heart for Thailand. Randy stayed active throughout his life, completing numerous marathons as a dedicated runner while also enjoying skiing and spending time outdoors in the landscapes he cherished.

He is survived by his daughter, Karli Moebius (Alex); his stepdaughter, Amy White (Jacob “Jed”); and Jan Kirker, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage. Randy is also remembered by his grandchildren, Luka and Ollie Moebius, and Sara and Max White. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Mason White. He is also survived by his sister, Cindy Manchester. Those who knew him will remember and carry forward the spirit of adventure that defined his life. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
