Randa C. Steinmacher

Randa C. Steinmacher, 77, of Orefield, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 12, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospice House in East Stroudsburg.

Born on August 21, 1948, in Red Bank, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late George F. Reinecke and Lois (Matthews) Reinecke. Randa spent many years as a homemaker while also providing in-home daycare to numerous families, caring for the children with the same warmth and devotion she showed her own. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed crafting, and was known for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor that brought laughter to everyone around her. Affectionately called “Bam” by those closest to her, she was also a devoted animal lover who cherished her dog, Stevie.

Above all, Randa was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose presence filled her family’s lives with joy. She is survived by her son, Jason Steinmacher; her daughter, Kristen Long; her grandson, Damon Long; and her beloved dog, Stevie. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Steinmacher.

Her family will forever cherish the laughter, love, and memories she shared with them throughout her life.
