She was born on September 11, 1936, and lived a fulfilling life devoted to her family, her faith, and all those she loved.Ramona was a devoted Christian woman whose unwavering faith in God guided her throughout every step of her life. She was a light to all who knew her, known for her joyful spirit, warm heart, and boundless love for her family. She was the heart and soul of every gathering, filling the room with laughter, love and stories that will be cherished forever. Her strength, wisdom, and kindness touched everyone she met, leaving a lasting legacy of love and compassion.Ramona was the beloved wife of the late Primitivo Del Valle. Together they built a loving, faith-filled home where everyone was welcomed with open arms. Though her family mourns her loss deeply, they take comfort in knowing she is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Primitivo, who welcomed her at the gates of heaven. They are also comforted knowing she is reunited with her first infant son David, who passed away as a baby.Ramona is survived by her eight devoted and dedicated children, Ruthie, Evie, Larry, Primitivo, Noel, Ramonita, Erik, and Nellie; loving sister, Carmen; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren who will carry forward her love, strength, and traditions.Visitation will be Wednesday, March 18, 2026, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana 46408.
