Ramona Queen ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by DeArman Pickard Funeral Home - Stratford on Mar. 12, 2026.Ramona Francine Queen, 79, of Ardmore, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026.Ramona was born on December 18, 1946, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Lyle and Lucille Headrick, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Queen, and two sons, Tom and Leon.She is survived by her children Ray and Charis Queen, Renee and Brandon Allen, and Amanda and Jeremy Hobson; her sister Gwen and brother L.C.; and her beloved grandchildren Tristan, Ariel, Megan, Raymond, Levi, Landon, Charlie, Montana, Deacon, Zell, and Colton. She also leaves behind one great grandson, Johnathan.Ramona spent most of her life as a devoted homemaker, dedicating her time and love to caring for her family. She lived primarily in the Oklahoma and Kansas area and created a home filled with warmth and laughter.She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Ramona enjoyed reading, visiting with family, and watching for her favorite birds-cardinals, or "redbirds." She was known for her ornery sense of humor, her loving and giving heart, and her familiar sayings like "Oh sugar" and "heifers."Ramona will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.A memorial service will be held at a later date, to be determined.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
