Rafaela Anselmo Arellano

Mrs. Rafaela Anselmo Arellano, 81, of Yadkinville, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Born on October 24, 1944, in Guerrero, Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Leovijildo Anselmo and Teresa Gahona.

In addition to her parents, Rafaela was preceded in death by three of her sons, Moises Arellano, Jorge Arellano, and Francisco Arellano. She is survived by her devoted husband, Marcelino Arellano Cornejo, and her children: Mario Arellano and his four children, Javier Arellano and his four children, Ignacia Arellano and her two children, Alma Delia Arellano and her four children, Antonia Arellano and her four children, and Martin Arellano and his two children, along with the six children of her late son Moises.

Rafaela lived a life centered on family, finding deep fulfillment in nurturing her children and grandchildren across generations. Her enduring love and quiet strength remain a cherished legacy for all who called her mother, grandmother, and wife.
