She was born on June 25, 1991, in Indianapolis, Indiana.Rachel was a light in the lives of those who knew her. No matter what the world threw at her, she always tried to remain positive, meeting life's challenges with strength, humor, and resilience. She had a beautiful heart and an infectious spirit that made others feel welcome and loved. She loved to cook, often sharing meals made with care and creativity. She enjoyed coloring as a way to relax and express herself, and she could often be found playing old-school video games, reliving the classics with a competitive smile. Rachel also had a love for fashion - she was proudly and unapologetically "fashionably late," because looking and feeling good was simply part of who she was. She never went anywhere without her purse, which seemed to contain everything she owned - and weighed just about as much! It was one of the many little things that made her uniquely Rachel.Rachel adored her family. She treasured every moment spent with them and loved deeply and wholeheartedly. Her greatest pride and joy was her daughter, Maleia Kolp, whom she loved beyond measure. Rachel's love for Maleia was fierce, unwavering, and the center of her world. She also shared a special bond with her nephew, Kamdyn - affectionately known to her as her "TT Boy." Their connection was filled with laughter, love, and countless cherished memories. Rachel loved to goof off and had a wonderful sense of humor; she found joy in making others laugh and never missed an opportunity to share a smile.Rachel is survived by her loving mother, Angela Gregg (maiden name Angela David); her beloved daughter, Maleia Kolp; her sister, Kendra Brown-Kamler (maiden name Kendra Gregg); her nephew, Kamdyn Brown-Kamler, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.Though her time here was far too short, Rachel's love, laughter, and light will live on in the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
