She was predeceased by: her husband Eliseo Tovar; and her parents, Salvador Hernandez and Rosa. She is survived by: her daughters, Anita Nunez and Venus Lee; her brothers, Arturo Hernandez, Salvador Hernandez (Connie) and Antonio Hernandez; and her grandchildren, Ricky Ramon Nunez, Heaven Leeann Nunez and Ricardo Rey Nunez.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hughes Funeral Homes - Oak Cliff Chapel (400 E Jefferson Blvd, Dallas, TX 75203). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery (1500 S Westmoreland Rd, DeSoto, TX 75115).
