Rachael K. Jones, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the age of 84. Born in Enterprise, Alabama, she was a cherished resident of Blakely, Georgia, where she lived a life full of love, service, and faith.

Rachael was the devoted wife of Wilson Earl Jones, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage. Together they raised their children, Cheryl Jones Gleaton (Gary) of Blakely, Georgia, and Randall Earl Jones (Lisa) of Prairieville, Louisiana. She was a proud grandmother to Jessica Lynn Gleaton (Dustin Mock), Hannah Kirby (Denton), and Caroline Pultz (Matt), and a doting great-grandmother to Levi Merritt, Waylon Merritt, Jack Kirby, and Keller Kirby.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Franklin Kelley and Beatrice Odom Kelley, and by her siblings, Doris Kelley, Reba McIntosh, and Dot Byrd. Rachael dedicated her professional life to the Early County School System as a paraprofessional, where she touched the lives of countless students and colleagues. A charter member of Southside Baptist Church, she served as a Sunday School teacher and was an active participant in Women on Mission, living out her faith through quiet, consistent service to others.

Those who knew Rachael will forever remember her kind and uplifting spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of gentleness, faithfulness, and devotion to family and community that will continue to inspire all who loved her.
