She was born on Tuesday, February 28th, 1950 in Calico Rock, Arkansas to Ernest and Audie Whiteaker (Galloway).R Lou grew up in Calico Rock, and moved to Pea Ridge around 2021 to stay with her children. She enjoyed quilting, shopping, playing with her grandchildren, and going to church. She was a member Harbor of Praise Church in Bentonville, Arkansas.She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Audie; and one brother, Henry Whiteaker.R Lou is survived by her four children, Deanna Carrillo (Ray) of Pea Ridge, Tammy Coffman of Pea Ridge, Darren Dye (Janel) of Thailand, Shannon Dye of Berryville; five siblings, Larry Whiteaker, Carol Whiteaker, Bonnie Rush, Tina Middleton, and Carmalee Craig; sixteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.A Graveside Service will be held for her on Monday, March 9th 2026 at Galatia Cemetery in Norfork, Arkansas at 10:00a.m., Pastor Darryl Gosser officiating.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
