Phyllis Roy Hollifield, 84, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on February 26, 2026. Born on Easter Sunday, April 13, 1941, she spent much of her life in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. A graduate of Norwood High School, she lived for many years in Deer Park, where she worked for 37 years at Steelcraft in Blue Ash. An active member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, she sang in the choir, rang handbells, and taught fifth-grade Sunday School.

In 2003, Phyllis retired to Riverview, Florida, where she became an active member of First Baptist Church of Brandon. She later moved to Spring Hill, Florida in 2020. She is survived by her son, William (Mitch) Hollifield and his wife Lori of Byrdstown, Tennessee; her daughter, Martha Threadgill and her husband Ron of Spring Hill, Florida; grandchildren Erin Persinger and her husband Brent of Lexington, Kentucky, Christopher Hollifield of Sylvania, Alabama, Lauren Duvall and her husband Justin of Albany, Kentucky, Justin Threadgill and his wife Kerstin of Tyler, Texas, and Jake Threadgill of Spring Hill, Florida; and six great-grandchildren, Matthew, Ava, and Allie Jo Persinger, Tucker and Layton Ruth Duvall, and Skylar Hollifield. She is also survived by many beloved nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, her brother and sister, and many other loved ones.
