Phyllis Jean Kinney

Phyllis Jean Kinney was born on November 3, 1934, in Wheeling, West Virginia, and passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, at the Country Club Rehabilitation Campus in Bellaire, Ohio, at the age of 91.

A devoted homemaker, Phyllis centered her life on her family. Her nurturing spirit and steadfast love created a warm and welcoming home that brought comfort and joy to everyone she welcomed.

A faithful member of the Lincoln Avenue Methodist Church in Shadyside, Ohio, Phyllis drew strength and community from her faith, which remained a guiding light throughout her years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathryn (Beckendorf) Brewer, her father, Edward Brewer, and her step-son, Richard Kinney. Phyllis is survived by her devoted husband, Gerald Kinney; her son, Marc Jackson, and his wife, Jennifer; her daughter, Jana Gardner, and her husband, Jeff; and three cherished grandchildren. Those who loved her will carry the gentle warmth of her presence and the many fond memories they shared.
