Phyllis Day

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Langford (Betty) and Clyde Langford; her husband Kenneth R. Day; and her siblings, Margarett Sapp and Brian Langford.

She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Lewis (Boone) and Kenny Day (Sabrina); her grandchildren, Jacob Whitaker (Kortney), Brittany Day, Heather Shoemaker, Ashley Saylor (Prescott), Kendra Hunborg (Dylan) and Johnathan Day; her great grandchildren, Gracelynn Shoemaker, Elliott Shoemaker and Avery Whitaker; and her brothers, Ronnie Langford (Brenda) and Jeff Langford.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Riverside Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that you make donations to Christ Hands, 111 Railroad Street, Harlan, KY 40831 in honor of Phyllis who volunteered there for many years.
