Phyllis C. Batterman

Phyllis C. Batterman, age 76, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026. She was the devoted wife of Deanna Delahunty and the loving mother of Elliot Batterman (Christine), Adrienne Enz (Kevin), and Monica Batterman. She was the dear grandmother of Jared, Cameron, Aidan, Gavin, Regan, and Jace. Phyllis was the adored daughter of the late Joseph and Pearl Cohen (Freeman) and the beloved sister of Stephen Cohen (the late Sandy). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

After a courageous 25-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis, Phyllis passed away surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Despite the challenges of her illness, she lived a life full of curiosity and adventure. She cherished traveling the world with her wife, Deanna, creating memories that will last a lifetime. An avid reader in her earlier years, she later found comfort in her favorite television shows, ceramics, and bingo. She especially enjoyed traveling on bus trips with Starr Tours, visiting destinations across the country and attending many beloved Broadway performances.

Phyllis will be remembered for her strength, her love of travel and entertainment, and the special bond she shared with her family. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
