She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Hunter and Myrtle Hunter (Varvel); her sister Ina June Combs (Dwight); her parents-in-law, Anton and Anna Jansen; and her siblings-in-law, Paul Jansen (Agnes), Andy Jansen, Ron Bottons, Jo Ann, Bess and Gloria Jansen.

She is survived by: her husband Marcellus; her children, Brian, Michelle Goacher (Scot), Karen Fernandez (John) and Becky Dixon (David); her grandchildren, Josh Jansen (Nicci), Jordan Smith (Stephen), Anthony Thompson, Audrey Call (Steven), Chris Fernandez, Sydney Fernandez, Wyatt Goacher (Melissa), Isaac Dixon, Hunter Dixon and Samantha Dixon; and her great grandchildren, Everest Jansen and Levi Call.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brennan Mathena Funeral Home (800 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66603). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (312 NE Freeman Ave, Topeka, KS 66616). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (801 SW Westchester Rd, Topeka, KS 66606).

Memorial contributions should be made to Sacred Heart/ St. Joseph Parish, Holy Family School, or Midland Hospice, sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave. Topeka, KS 66603.
