Phyllis Adra Austin

The passing of Phyllis Adra Austin (West Union, Ohio) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 7, 2026 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Crothers and Rosabelle "Rose" Crothers (Johnson); her siblings, Patricia "Pat" Lewis (Allen), Dena Graham (Larry), James "Bob" Crothers (Martha), Dallas Crothers and Linda Arrington (James); and her son Phillip Wayne Austin.

She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Crabtree (George); her grandchildren, Jason Austin (Apryl), Amie Charles, Amanda Adkins, Alisha, Bobby, Sandlin and Clarisha Hilderbrand (Benjamin); and her sister Lanna Smart. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and several great, great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Faith Life Church (91 Rollingwoods Dr, West Union, OH 45693). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Locust Grove Cemetery (10530 OH-73, Peebles, OH 45660).

To honor Phyllis' wishes, donations may be made to the Faith Life Church in her memory, in lieu of flowers.
