She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest L. Butler and Helen Butler (Mathias); and her stepfather Bill Edwards. She is survived by: her children, Tina Bartel (Schoonveld) of California, Diana Davis of Florida, Sheila Gray of Lafayette, Tim Taylor of Pennsylvania and Brad Hayes of Illinois. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lafayette Chapel (914 Columbia St, Lafayette, IN 47901). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery (2581 Schuyler Ave, Lafayette, IN 47905).
