Phillip Theodore Stanley, of Garrettsville, Ohio, known affectionately as Phil to his friends and family, passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on February 18, 1964, in Ravenna, Ohio, Phil was a man whose gentle nature, handiness, and loving heart left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Phil grew up in a bustling household as the beloved son of the late James and Kay Stanley. He was a cherished brother to Dave (Sue) Carroll, Peggy Belknap, Vicki (Rick) Hymes, Jamie (Dave) Binegar, Jim (Pam) Stanley, Dale Stanley, Wanda (Ronnie) Mclean, Tim (Danielle) Stanley, and Scott (Theresa) Stanley. The bonds he shared with his family extended to his numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom will fondly remember his kind spirit and helpful nature.

A loving father, Phil leaves behind his daughters, Christiann (Eddie) Stanley-Geer and Alicia Stanley, who were the pride and joy of his life. His legacy continues through them and his cherished grandchildren, Derik, Dakota, Coler, Makenzie, and Cameron. The mother of his daughters, Darlene, remained a part of his life as they watched their children and grandchildren grow. He also shared a close friendship with Barry and Sharon Humberson, with whom he created countless memories and much laughter.

Throughout his life, Phil was a hardworking laborer who took pride in his ability to turn his hand to many trades. He found peace in the simple pleasures of fishing and being outdoors, and he could fix almost anything, never afraid to try. His strength, kindness, and dedication will be treasured forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
