He was born on June 12, 1947, in Conneaut, Ohio, to his devoted parents, Margaret and Albert Pizzi.Phillip grew up in Conneaut and built a life rooted in hard work, service, and deep love for his family. He dedicated 35 years of his career to General Electric's Conneaut Base Plant, where he was known not only for his strong work ethic, but also for his commitment to his coworkers. As a union steward, he represented employees with dedication, fairness, and a sense of responsibility.A man of many passions, Phillip was an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast, often taking to the open road with joy and freedom. He loved spending time with his family, watching sports, and staying active in the community. For 14 years, he proudly served as a high school football referee, sharing his love for the game with young athletes. Phillip also volunteered with the Conneaut Police Department, further demonstrating his lifelong dedication to service.On May 6, 1976, Phillip married the love of his life, Kathy, and together they built a strong and joyful partnership spanning nearly five decades. After retiring from General Electric, Phillip and Kathy moved west to be closer to family, ultimately settling in Lehi, Utah.Phillip was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served faithfully as a high priest and in many other callings. His approach to service and spiritual strength left a lasting influence on all who knew him.Phillip is survived by his beloved wife Kathy; his four children; Mike Pizzi, Tammy Peterson, and his sons from his first marriage, Chris Pizzi and Jamie Pizzi; eleven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He is also remembered by extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.Phillip will be remembered for his dedication to family and the quiet but powerful way he influenced those around him. His legacy of dedication, service, and love will endure through all who had the privilege of knowing him.May he rest in peace.Services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026. A viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 am with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am. Both will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 465 West 700 South, Lehi , Utah.
