Philip Brent Garmon

We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2026, at the age of 82, Philip Brent Garmon of La Grange, Kentucky passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Philip Brent Garmon to pay them a last tribute.

As Philip departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Philip. Though Philip may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Garmon and Ella Garmon (Atwood); and his sister Mary Rippy. He is survived by: his wife Linda W Garmon; his children, Sherry and James V Garmon; his pet Charlie; and his brothers-in-law, Don Weilage (Carol) and Ralph Weilage (Betty). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, along with extended family.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Floydsburg Cemetery (5600 Old Floydsburg Rd, Crestwood, KY 40014).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Dreams with Wings or Down Syndrome of Louisville in honor of his son, or to Hosparus Health for their care of Philip.
