Peyton Brenny ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Peterson Chapel – Buffalo on Feb. 26, 2026.Peyton Andrew Brenny, age 25 of Montrose, MN, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes from an unknown medical condition on February 24, 2026Peyton was a warm-hearted, fun-loving soul whose presence brought laughter and curiosity into the lives of those around him. Known for his quick wit and unmistakable sarcastic humor, a clever comeback was guaranteed and never far behind his smile.Peyton graduated from Buffalo High School in 2019, where he participated in track and field. He later worked at Buffalo Hospital in the registration department, where his knowledge and kind nature were appreciated by coworkers and those he served.He had a deep passion for history and was an avid reader, always eager to learn something new. Peyton also enjoyed gourmet cooking and took pride in experimenting with food and flavors. In his free time, he loved gaming and listening to heavy metal music, interests that reflected both his creativity and individuality.Never one to shy away from unique pursuits, Peyton began hunting with a cousin and developed an interest in taxidermy, even crafting his own squirrel skull necklace. While planning an Iceland trip with friends, he discovered a love for bonsai tree collecting-another reflection of his curiosity and appreciation for detail.Peyton's intelligence, humor, and wide-ranging interests made him unforgettable. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.Peyton is survived by his parents, Christopher Brenny and Jennifer Brenny (Tony Haven); siblings, Eli Brenny and Autumn Brenny (Zach Symanietz); grandparents Rick & Diane Johnson and Jeanne Brenny; great grandparents, Jerry Haugh Steinberg and Bob & Delores Chapman; aunts and uncles, Skip (Becky) Johnson, Michael (Sarah) Brenny, Bryan (Katie) Brenny, Shannon (Nabeel) Benalshaikh, Stacy (Scott) Anderson, Michael (Alison) Johnson, Eric (Amber) Johnson, Tony Johnson.Loved by many cousins, friends, special friend Christi Lombardi, and his cat Mochi.Preceded in death his grandfather, Douglas Brenny and cousin, Drake Johnson.Casket bearers for Peyton will be his guy cousins, Jordan Anderson, Jace Anderson, Mahdi Benalshaikh, Dominic Johnson, Jonah Anderson, Ethan Brenny, Ryder Johnson and Levi BrennyLuncheon at the church following the service.Private family interment at a later date.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
