She lived her life in quiet devotion: to her family, to her faith, and the simple but meaningful work of caring for others. She was a wonderful cook, and her kitchen was a place of warmth and welcome. Meals weren't just food on the table-they were expressions of love. Through every holiday feast, dinner, and everyday recipe, she nourished not just our bodies but our spirits. The smells from her stove and the comfort of her cooking will forever feel like home. Her hands were rarely still. As a gifted quilt maker, she stitched together more than fabric-she stitched together memories. Every quilt carried pieces of her patience, creativity, and care. Those quilts will continue to wrap our family in warmth, just as she always did.In her garden, she found joy and peace. She nurtured her flowers and plants with the same tenderness she gave her family. Watching things grow under her care reflected who she was: faithful, attentive, and quietly strong. She understood that growth takes time, love, and trust-lessons she lived out every day. Most importantly, she was a devoted wife and mother. Her love was steady and selfless. She showed up-- in big moments and small ones--with encouragement, wisdom, and unwavering support. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she gave us the gift of feeling deeply loved. Her legacy lives on in the meals we cook, the quilts we treasure, the gardens we plant, and the faith we carry forward. We are who we are because of her. She was truly a blessing, and she will always be the heart of our family. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
