Peter Thomas Agrafiotis, 85, of Carroll Township, passed away at home on Friday, March 13, 2026, after a long illness, surrounded by his family.
A graduate of Donora High School and West Penn Technical Institute, Pete worked as a skilled draftsman at US Steel Corporation in McKeesport and later at Lee Norse Corporation in Charleroi. He served his country as an Army reservist for many years. An avid sportsman and gardener, he cherished time spent outdoors. He also possessed a deep passion for restoring classic automobiles, a pursuit he followed both personally and professionally.
Pete was the son of the late Thomas and Eva Agrafiotis. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marina, and his son, Thomas P. Agrafiotis, Esquire. He is also survived by his sister, Mary (Sam) Doris, sisters-in-law Sophia Papantonakis and Chris (Gene) Johnston, brother-in-law Michael Papantonakis, nephew Nick (Stavroula) Doris, and many cousins, including Joanna Gatsiopoulous and family and Cynthia (Martin) Kostelnik and family, along with many dear friends.
A lifelong Greek Orthodox, Pete was actively involved in the life of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Monessen. His family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Amedysis Hospice team for their compassionate care over the past year.
