Peter N. Soriano, 81, of East Hanover, passed away on March 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Newark, he lived in Irvington before settling in East Hanover 35 years ago.
Peter worked as a mechanic at Iversly Machinery in West Caldwell for 20 years until his retirement in 1995. In his younger years he was an avid boxer, and he continued to enjoy watching boxing matches long after he stepped out of the ring.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Iraida (Ascencio) Soriano, and his daughter, Crystal Remollino.
