Peter Michael Anderer

Peter M. Anderer, 60, of Port Wentworth, Georgia, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 6, 2026. Born on November 5, 1965, in Waltham, Massachusetts, he grew up there before moving to Savannah, Georgia, approximately thirteen years ago.

Peter was predeceased by his beloved parents, Paul Charles Anderer and Caroline (Dionisio) Anderer, whose values and love profoundly shaped his life. He is survived by his soul mate, Patricia Bourque, and her daughter, Crystal Sousa; his brother, Ricky Charles Anderer, and Ricky’s fiancée, Kelly Callahan; his two remaining aunts, Claire Fossit and Delores Woll; and numerous cousins.

A graduate of Waltham Vocational High School in 1984, where he studied Auto Body Repair and Refinishing, Peter later earned his Aviation Mechanic Certificate from East Coast Aero Tech in 2011. He worked at Boeing and Piper before joining Gulfstream, where he remained until his passing. He took great pride in building aircraft and approached his work with seriousness and dedication.

Peter loved his family deeply and found joy in the ocean, wildlife, and the simple pleasures of life. He formed an unlikely friendship with an alligator he nicknamed “Fluffy” near his workplace. His passions included watching Smackdown and Raw, the Navy and Air Force, history, crime shows, superheroes, Snoopy, the New England Patriots, his Can-Am Spyder trike, his Ram truck, and decorating his home and vehicles with lights. He also cherished his time as a lobsterman with his brother Ricky. Kind, caring, and fiercely loyal, Peter was always ready to help others and stand up for those in need. Those who knew him will remember his infectious laughter, sharp sense of humor, and the playful commentary he provided for his two cats.
