Kasper Jr., 83, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and loyal friend.Peter Michael Kasper Jr., of Viera, Florida (formerly of Tinton Falls, New Jersey), passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, surrounded by loving family. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Peter lived a life devoted to his family, friends, and faith. Above all else, Peter cherished the life he shared with his beloved wife, Maggie, whose love and companionship were the center of his world.Raised in a Russian Orthodox family, Peter carried his heritage with pride throughout his life. After graduating from high school, he served in the United States Army. Following his military service, he built a respected career as a Contract Officer with the federal government, where he formed many friendships that lasted a lifetime.Peter embraced life with enthusiasm, humor, and joy. Throughout the years, he enjoyed softball, playing golf, and bowling. He also loved music, dancing, and telling jokes, but was happiest in the kitchen preparing delicious meals for family and friends. He also had a deep love of travel and treasured the many adventures he and Maggie shared with family and friends over the years.He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter M. Kasper Sr. and Anna K. Denhup Kasper; sisters Viola Arvai and Carol Manente; and brother John Kasper.Peter is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret ("Maggie"); his daughters, Michelle (Steve) Schlefstein of Woodbridge, Virginia, and Carin (Nick) Francisco of West Long Branch, New Jersey; and his cherished grandchildren, Jonathan (Maria) McClelland, Jessica McClelland, Alissa (Eric) Devlin, Nicholas (Taylor) Francisco, and Christopher Francisco and his fiancée, Hailey Nuro. He was also the proud great-grandfather of Ellie, Michael, Eva, Patrick, and Sophia. His family brought him great joy, and he took immense pride in watching it grow across generations.A Celebration of Life will be held on March 19, 2026, in Viera, Florida.A memorial service will be held in New Jersey on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch.
