Peter L "Ace" Griffin

Peter Griffin of Buffalo entered into rest on March 14, 2026.

A devoted family man, he was the beloved father of Lieutenant Colonel (Air Force) Shawn (Michele) Griffin, Peter (Diane) Griffin Jr., Kerri (Samuel) Chudy, and the late Melissa Griffin. He was the cherished Papa of Riana (Mina), Caeley, Hayden, Amia, River, Carissa, and Chance, and the loving great-papa of Zion. He is also survived by his former wives, Mary Lou and Jeanne, many nieces and nephews, extended family, friends, and his canine companion, MJ. He was predeceased by his parents and four siblings.

Peter’s life was defined by the deep love he held for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild, and by the quiet comfort he found in the company of his faithful dog MJ. His memory will remain a source of warmth and connection for all those who knew and loved him.
