He is survived by: his wife Lahoma Hayner; his stepchildren, Jalta Baird, Jeremy Carreon and Joshua Carreon; his sister Patricia Setter (Bill); his siblings-in-law, Leona Todd (Anthony) and Daniel Wood (Ruth); his sibling's children, Jen Setter and Jesse Setter; and his pet Ginger. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home (418 W College St, Jonesborough, TN 37659). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684).
