Peggy Louise Bunting

PEGGY LOUISE BUNTING, of Charleston, WV, was born on June 26, 1938, and passed away on February 25, 2026. She had a peaceful and contented life. She was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Ola Bunting; her brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Gloria Bunting, and her sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Ted Stout. Surviving her are her sister. Lorella Boggess Vargas, and several nieces and nephews. Peggy began her working life as a school secretary for the Kanawha County Board of Education. In 1999. she retired from Charleston Area Medical Center as a purchasing agent. She graduated from East Bank High School and was very active in their alumni association, holding several positions of responsibility. She was an active member of Christ Church United Methodist, where she volunteered many hours for church projects and weekly duties. Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home, 1118 Virginia Street East, Charleston, WV. Visitation will begin one hour prior at the funeral home.
