Peggy Jane Enteman

Peggy Jane Enteman of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on March 15, 2026 at the age of 81. Born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Peggy lived a life deeply rooted in family and community.

She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Jane Dooley, and her brothers, Jerry and Bobby Dooley. She is survived by her husband Larry Enteman; her daughter Kathy Gibson and son-in-law Tommie; her grandson Jacob Gibson and his wife Renee; her great-grandchildren Charlie, Drue, Logan, Landen, Trenten (Nora), Lexi (Kadyn), and Bradlee (Makayla); her great-great-grandchild Bailee; her sisters Patricia Brock (Steve), Lynda Dooley, and Becky Gavin; and her sister-in-law Sharon Dooley. Peggy was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

Warm and devoted, Peggy found her greatest joy in her large and loving family. She remained close to her siblings throughout her life and took special delight in her role as grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, nurturing each generation with quiet strength and affection.
