Peggy Graves ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Hood Funeral Home & Crematory on Mar. 3, 2026.May 6th, 1938- March 1st, 2026Peggy Doris (Adair) Graves, 87 of Crossville, TN has started her journey to reunite with the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Taylor Graves, who sadly preceded her in 2013. She and our dad lived a very fruitful life and were wed for 58 years, raising four boys into successful, loving men. She is survived by her sons: Robert Timothy & wife, Rosanne; Randy Mitchell & wife, Teresa; Kevin John & wife, Kathy; Darrin Shawn & wife, Patrycja; as well as four grandchildren: Cory Timothy & wife, Jen; Lindy Star & husband, Alberto; Joseph Paul & wife, Shelly; Maddy Paige and fiancé Micajah; and four grandchildren: Cameron Alexandra, Nicholas Alexander, Leah Morgan, and Connor Timothy.Peggy was born Pascola, MO. Our father actually worked the fields very near where our mother grew up, although they would never meet until years later and hundreds of miles away. An arranged blind date in 1955 in Benton Harbor, MI started it all. They soon settled in Battle creek MI. to raise our family. She was our caregiver and a true domestic goddess, keeping our home in tip top shape despite the ramblings of four boys. She never waivered in her commitment to our family, walking hand in hand with our father to campgrounds, excursions, and exploration of the great outdoors. She helped shape the fond memories of our childhood that we cherish to this day.She devoted her life to her family and her church; she will be sorely missed by many. She was met and escorted past the pearly gates by angels into the waiting arms of our father. So long Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma. We love you! Us, your loving family!Services will be held 1pm Thursday March, 5th at Crossville City Cemetery, their final resting place with her pastor, Rick Farrell who will perform the services. Hood Funeral Home and Crematory LLC will make the final arrangements. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
