It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Peggy Brooks of Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away at the age of 82, on March 7, 2026. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Cook and Willie Lou Cook (Harry); her husband Tommy Brooks; and her grandparents, Will, Moman Partlow, Flavis and Lucy Cook.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Raines (Roger) and Leanne London; her grandchildren, Keely Trimble (Bart), Madison Cox (Ty), Hunter Raines (Sophie) and Kortney Ratzlaff (Bartlett); her great grandchildren, Cal, Bonnie Trimble, Gentry Raines and Parker Ratzlaff; her sister Stephanie Baughn (Bob); her cousin Pat Langston (Bill); her friend Shirley Langley (Dan); Larry London (Theresa).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues Funeral Directors (535 W Jefferson St, Tupelo, MS 38804). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Sanctuary Hospice, honoring Peggy's lifelong spirit of compassion and giving.
