Pedro Lopez Rodriguez grew up in San Pedro Meoqui and dedicated his life to working in agriculture and spending most of his working time at a Coca Cola factory located in Mexico. He attended school all the way until the fourth grade. Among his many accomplishments were raising 9 beloved children and watching his 40 plus grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and 20 great great grandchildren grow up and see who they become, while still embracing the love he had for horse riding, bike riding, enjoying a good smoke, and spending cherished time with his family. Pedro Lopez Rodriguez will be deeply missed by his loving family: His loving daughters Margarita Lopez, Lupe Lopez, Norelia Lopez, and Maria Lopez, and their families. His loving sons Pedro Lopez and Juan Lopez. His loving grandchildren: 40 plus, great grandchildren: 50, and great great grandchildren: 20. His loving sister Esperanza Lopez and brother Alfredo Lopez.He was predeceased by his beloved wife Maria Luisa Sepulveda he married in 1949. Daughter Elva Lopez, loving sons Francisco Lopez and Jose Lopez, loving sister Celia Lopez, loving brother Jose Lopez, loving parents Victoria Rodriguez and Francisco Lopez, and hisA rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m on Sunday, March 8th of 2026 at Holy Family Catholic Mission, 626 Beaubien Ave, Fort Garland, CO. Followed by a Mass of Resurrection held at 11:00 a.m on Monday, March 9th of 2026 at Holy Family Catholic Mission, 626 Beaubien Ave, Fort Garland, CO. Our beloved Pedro Lopez Rodriguez will be laid to rest at the Fort Garland/Blanca Cemetery.Online condolences may be shared at romerofuneralhomes.com.
