December 4, 1950— March 4, 2026
Corpus Christi, TX
Pedro De Haro, age 75, passed away on March 4, 2026. He was born on December 4, 1950, in General Enrique Estrada, Zacatecas, Mexico, to Eleuterio De Haro Saucedo and Elena Castañon Rodriguez.
A steadfast husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Pedro found his greatest joy in his roles as a father, big brother, and grandfather. To his sons Daniel and Andres, he was their first role model, best friend, and mentor. To Melissa, he was the light of her life, her rock, and partner in crime. To his sister Lisa, he was the best big brother and lifelong protector. To his beloved wife Graciela, Pedro was her life; their love was unmatched and felt like something from a fairytale. He trusted his faith deeply and looked forward to reuniting with her. His unconditional love for his children, grandchildren, and sister touched many lives, and the love and laughter he brought to his family and friends will live on in their memories.
Pedro served two years in the Army before working as an operator for Island Construction, where he eventually retired. In retirement, he devoted himself to being a grandfather, traveling between Washington state and Texas to watch his grandchildren grow. He also shared a special, lighthearted friendship with Eric, known as Uber, with whom he would rebuild broken items, share lunches, or make trips to Home Depot.
Pedro is preceded in death by his wife, Graciela De Haro, and his parents, Eleuterio De Haro Saucedo and Elena Castañon Rodriguez. He is survived by his sons, Daniel De Haro (Lori) and Andres De Haro (Elizabeth); his daughter, Melissa De Haro; his grandchildren, Chase, Chance, Chloe, Layla, Sofia, Lexander, Alyssa, Kalel, Andres, Lana, and Adalynn; his sister Lisa De Haro and nephew Jaden Mosley; his sisters Altagracia, Ana, María Auxilio Covarrubias Sánchez, Maria de Lourdes Covarrubias Sánchez, and Luz María Covarrubias Sánchez; and his brothers Mauro (Raquel) Covarrubias Sánchez, Ignacio Covarrubias De Haro, Eduardo Covarrubias Sánchez, Gilberto Covarrubias Sánchez, Raudel Covarrubias Sánchez, and Samuel Covarrubias Sánchez.
