Pauline Wood Reynolds

Pauline Wood Reynolds of Greensboro passed away on March 10, 2026, at Wesley Long Memorial Hospital. Born on June 17, 1937, in Surry County to Paul and Mary Brooks Wood, she graduated from Mountain Park High School in the class of 1955. Pauline found quiet joy in gardening, cooking, and reading, pursuits that reflected her gentle and nurturing spirit.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Reynolds; her children, Janice Reynolds, Steve Reynolds, and Patty Little; her twin sister, Maxine Wood Reynolds; and her brothers, Harold Wood, Eugene Wood, and Kelly Wood.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Mary (Beth) Faircloth and her husband Stephen of Oak Ridge; seven grandchildren, Camille Bosworth, Karen Faircloth, Michael Little, Jennifer Sugalski, Matthew Faircloth, Erin Little, and Zachary Little; and seven great-grandchildren. To all of them she was beloved and known simply as Granny, a name that captured the warmth and devotion she brought to her family.
