Pauline Vivian Bautz

Pauline V. Bautz, age 100, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away on March 14, 2026, at her home.

Born in Newark, Ohio on June 28, 1925, to Ray F. Sutton and Gladys M. Sutton, Pauline graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1942. She married Jacob J. Bautz on September 22, 1945, in New York City. During World War II she worked at Westinghouse in Mansfield, Ohio, and later at Faultless Rubber Company in Ashland, Ohio. After retiring to Boynton Beach, Florida, she volunteered for many years at Bethesda Hospital.

She is survived by her sons, Jerald Bautz and his wife Christine of Sanford, Florida, and Timothy Bautz and his wife Michelle of Crossville, Tennessee; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jacob J. Bautz; her sisters, Virginia Myers of Mansfield, Ohio, and Jeanette Wilson of Ashland, Ohio; and her brother, Robert Sutton of Mansfield, Ohio.
