Paulette M. Howard

Paulette M. Howard, 77, of Lincoln, passed away at home surrounded by her family after a long battle with rheumatoid arthritis. Born on September 24, 1948, she was the daughter of Franklin and Carene (Haney) Sawtelle.

Paulette found joy in fishing, arts and crafts, sewing, and especially her time at Girls Camp. She shared 29 years of marriage with her husband, Larry Howard, and remained deeply devoted to her children and extended family throughout her life.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Howard; her children, William Moholland of Lincoln, Jodie Moholland and her husband Joe Staples of Pittsfield, and Brock Moholland and his wife Emil of Hampden; step-daughters, Torey Richards of Cumberland and her son, Asa, and Nichole Howard and her husband Richard of Portland; grandchildren, Brandon Lee of Waterville, Brandon Moholland and Britton Moholland of Pittsfield, Bennett Moholland of Hampden, and Brenna Moholland and her partner Jeremy Green of Ripley; and great-grandchildren Charlotte and Copper of Waterville, with a great-grandson, baby boy James, expected soon. She is also survived by her brother, Donnie Laney and his wife Tina of Princeton; her sisters, Nora and Elis; and her brothers, Bret and Greg of Connecticut. She was predeceased by her sister, Vickie Laney of Massachusetts.

In keeping with her wishes, there were no funeral services. As she requested, “Make your memory of me a happy one.”
