Paulette Angela Tynes

Paulette Angela Tynes was born on May 4, 1957, in San Antonio, Texas, to Howard and Mabel Tynes. She passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Paulette filled her home with warmth, laughter, and the comforting aromas of meals she prepared with love. She took great joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren, and extended family, creating countless cherished memories through heartfelt conversations and shared moments.

For more than thirty years, she served the City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department, supporting programs that enriched the lives of families and young people throughout the community. Paulette was known for her straightforward nature, kindness, strength, and the unconditional love she offered to everyone around her.

She is survived by her beloved children, Carlos Tynes and Flatina Tynes; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a wide circle of extended family members and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.
