Paula Jane Palermo

Paula Jane Palermo, 73, of Merrimack, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026. Born in Nashua, New Hampshire on June 15, 1952, she was educated in the Nashua school system. Paula went on to earn her Real Estate license and became a top-producing Realtor in New Hampshire. She retired in 2017 after a successful final chapter with Hometown America in Vero Beach, Florida, yet her gift for connecting with people remained a defining part of her life.

Paula was the beloved wife of Sebastian “Sal” Palermo for 38 years until his passing in 2016. In 2019 she married Michael Cirrone, and together they shared a joyful partnership filled with travel across the United States and quiet appreciation for one another’s company. To Paula, family was defined not by bloodlines but by the love shared among its members. She was an exceptional mother and doting grandmother who had a remarkable ability to make everyone around her feel seen, valued, and cherished. Her warmth served as the steady glue that held her large, blended family together.

She is reunited in peace with her late husband Sebastian Palermo, her parents Paul and Doris (Labbe) Gagnon, and her brother Kenneth Gagnon. Paula’s spirit lives on through her husband Michael Cirrone; her siblings David Gagnon and wife Jonna, and Glenn Gagnon and wife Laura; her children Wendy Leblanc and husband Anthony, Shari Smith and fiancé Sal Briguglio, Michelle Palermo-Lajoie, Sharon Palermo, and Christopher Palermo and wife Jennifer; her grandchildren Kerri, Nicholas, Nicole, Nitashia, Stefan, Alexander, Nathan, Emily, Sarah, and Tegan; her nine great-grandchildren; and Michael’s four children and their families, all of whom she embraced fully into her heart.
