Paula Coryell

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paula Coryell in Joplin, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2026 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Paula farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Paula is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Cones and Margie Cones (Crow); her husband Rick Coryell; and her daughter Jennifer Coryell. She is survived by: her children, Rickie Coryell, Jr. and Stephen Coryell; her granddaughters, Makayla Robbins and Delilah Coryell; and her siblings, Mary Howard, Shannon Cones and Nick Cones.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Park Cemetery (102 N Rangeline Rd, Joplin, MO 64801).
