Paul W. Stanton

June 1, 1953 March 9, 2026

Pennellville, NY

Paul William Stanton, born on June 1, 1953, in Syracuse, New York, to the late Charles F. and Barbara (Trautman) Stanton, passed away on March 6, 2026. A graduate of Corcoran High School, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University in 1976, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. His professional life was dedicated to construction engineering, beginning at Conproco Corporation, where he specialized in concrete construction. In 2009, he founded P. Stanton Associates, LLC, and continued sharing his extensive knowledge as a consultant for Anti-Hydro International, working on projects and with concrete producers throughout New York State.

Beyond his career, Paul was a gifted musician whose passion for music began in his youth. As a teenager, he performed with the Syracuse Marauders and the Auburn Purple Lancers Drum and Bugle Corps. In adulthood, he generously gave his time as a mentor and coach, teaching and guiding marching band students at Cicero North Syracuse High School and inspiring the next generation with his love of music.

Paul cherished his family and friends. After his parents retired to Florida, he made frequent trips from his home in Pennellville, New York, to North Fort Myers to visit them and enjoy time on the golf course. Following his father’s death, he remained especially attentive to his mother, demonstrating a deep and steadfast devotion. Even as his health declined, he made every effort to attend family gatherings and treasured the company of his close circle of friends.

He is survived by his brother, Charles F. (Lorraine) Stanton III, and his beloved nephews, Charles F. (Kristen) Stanton IV and Scott A. (Meaghan) Stanton, along with their children. Paul will be deeply missed by all who knew him for his warmth, dedication, and generous spirit.
