Paul W. Meisenbach, 76, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at the Hospice Care Unit of the Veterans Administration in Lebanon.

Born on August 18, 1949, Paul graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School in 1967 and later attended York College. In 1968, he was drafted into the United States Army and proudly served his country in Vietnam with the 4th Infantry Division and the 1st Air Cavalry. His personal awards included the Combat Infantry Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Bronze Star, Air Medal, National Defense Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and numerous service medals.

Paul remained deeply committed to his fellow veterans throughout his life. He was a life member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club. He also served with dedication and distinction as the Pennsylvania State Sergeant-at-Arms for more than 25 years.

He is survived by his son, Joshua A. Meisenbach of Harrisburg; his long-time companion, Emilia (Beany) Kelly; his siblings, Denise Brubaker (Gary), Michelle Post (Tim), Richard Meisenbach (Kim), Thomas Meisenbach (Sue), Jeanmaire Nobile (Ron), Christine Horn, and James Meisenbach (Theresa); and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will remember him with love and pride. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul H. Meisenbach and Cleona E. Meisenbach. Paul will be laid to rest at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors.
