Paul Ray Honeycutt, a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, was born on May 4, 1956, in Gastonia, North Carolina. He passed away on March 11, 2026, in Asheville, North Carolina.

For 26 years, Paul worked at Beacon Manufacturing, where his strong work ethic and commitment earned the respect of colleagues who remembered him as a reliable and kind-hearted man always willing to help others. His deep faith guided his life, leading him to become a founding member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church on Oak Hill Drive in Asheville. There he taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, drove the church bus, and assisted in any way he could, known by all for his caring spirit.

Above all, Paul adored his family. He shared 48 loving years with his wife, Sandra Gail Mashburn Honeycutt, his devoted partner in all things. Together they raised two children, Crystal Honeycutt Davis and her husband Jeremy, and Johnny Honeycutt, who brought him great joy and pride. As a grandfather, he cherished his grandchildren James, Andrew, and Ashley, who will carry his memory in their hearts. He also treasured his siblings, Ronnie Honeycutt and his wife Diane, Linda Harris and her husband James, and Sandra Tomberlin and her husband Jeff, along with many beloved nieces and nephews. His parents, Paul Honeycutt and Mary Sue Devinney Honeycutt, preceded him in death.
